Cacani, abbreviation for "Computer Assisted Cel Animation", is a 2D animation system that automatically generates in-between frames from key frames. Cacani is sometimes also written as CACAni or CACANI.
The Cacani system was started and is being actively developed by Computational Arts Group (CAG) in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) of Singapore. Cacani is currently being tested on creating anime, a collaboration between Anime International Company (AIC) and CAG.
