Caesar Rodney's Ride

Caesar Rodney's Ride is a traditional American poem commemorating the all night ride of Caesar Rodney in 1776 from his home near Dover, Delaware to Philadelphia to cast the deciding vote in the Delaware delegation to the Continental Congress. With his vote, Delaware joined 11 other states in voting for the Declaration of Independence.
