Caffè breve

Caffè breve (/ka'fe br'eve/) is a milk-based espresso drink using steamed half-and-half (a 1:1 mixture of milk and cream) instead of milk. It is an American variant on the latte.[citation needed]

Variations[edit]

  • A Mocha Breve is a similarly prepared drink with an ounce of chocolate, and is typically served with whipped cream.[1]
  • An Iced Breve is a Caffe breve served over ice.

Nutrition[edit]

A 12 oz. Caffe Breve contains 426 calories, 37 grams of fat, and 15 grams of total carbohydrates. It contains 27% daily value of Vitamin A and 36% daily value of calcium.[2]
