Caitlin Hale
Caitlin Mariah Hale (born February 19, 1991 in Ansonia, Connecticut) is an American child actress and singer who is most noted for her role as Marta in the 2003 film School of Rock, at age 12. She is the daughter of former Connecticut State Senator Gary Hale and his wife Barbara.

Hale has sung since the age of two, appearing in the New England Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker at age 3, and later played the lead in "Annie" at Sacred Heart University, and Molly in "ShowBiz Kids" at Bridgeport’s Polka Dot Playhouse. She has also sung the national anthem at a University of Connecticut men and women’s basketball games, and the state Republican convention.[1]
In School of Rock, Hale plays Marta, the giggly blonde girl with the pigtails, that sings as one of the three backing vocalists.
Hale is currently a Junior at Arizona State University in Tempe and a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. She is a journalism major specializing in public relations. A 2009 graduate of Hamden Hall Country Day School in Hamden, Connecticut, she is also a blogger, active members of the Delta Gamma Sorority and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, as well as an intern for a leading public relations firm based in Phoenix, Arizona. Caitlin’s blog, Gluten-Free Celebrity, accentuates her large appetite for life by educating the general public on Celiac Disease, while promoting healthy and delicious gluten-free alternatives.
While most of her family is settled on the East Coast, Caitlin anticipates pursuing an entertainment journalism career in California. She has previous entertainment experience through acting, singing and dancing in productions like Paramount Picture’s major motion film, School of Rock, in addition to various television appearances and off-broadway theatre.
