California's 14th State Senate district is one of 40 California State Senate districts. It is currently represented by Republican Tom Berryhill of Modesto.

District profile[edit]

The 14th District encompasses the entirety of Mariposa and Tuolumne Counties and parts of Fresno, Madera, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus Counties.

2011 redistricting[edit]

After redistricting in 2011 by the California Citizens Redistricting Commission, the new district now takes in parts of the southern Central Valley. It takes in heavily Latino portions of Fresno and Bakersfield, along with other places in between. The new district lines will take effect in the 2014 election.
