The 2014 California Superintendent of Public Instruction election will take place on June 3, 2014, to elect the Superintendent of Public Instruction of California. Incumbent Tom Torlakson is running for re-election to a second term in office.

A nonpartisan primary election will be held on June 3, 2014. If no candidate receives a majority of the vote, the top two finishers will advance to the general election, which will be held on November 4, 2014.
