Camp Pennsylvania is a small military base in Kuwait in use by the 101st Airborne Division during the Iraq War during major hostilities. This small military base consists of little more than fencing and tents, however it became famous after a grenade attack in March 2003.

Camp Pennsylvania opened in November 2001 from the task force 3-8 Cavalry with a company from the 2-7th cav which left April 2002 then 3rd ID MLRS battalion took over then came under heavy grenade fire from within the compound on the March 23, 2003. The attack caught the 101st Airborne off guard, as security on the base is heavy. During the attack, two men were killed, and 14 wounded. Shortly after, a US soldier Hasan Akbar, assigned to the 326th Engineer Battalion of the 101st Airborne, was found and arrested for the attacks. The attack, which was witnessed by embedded reporters, was widely reported in the international media.
