The Canadian Journey series is the sixth series of Canadian banknotes designed to celebrate Canada's history, culture, and achievements.

The $10 was first issued on January 17, 2001; the $5 on March 27, 2002; the $100 note on March 17, 2004, the $20 on September 29, 2004, and the $50 on November 17, 2004.

All banknotes have tactile features to assist people who are visually impaired to identify the notes.

Banknote varieties [edit]

With most or all other features remaining the same Canadian Journey Series Banknote varieties exist with changes to the Date Printed and the signatures combinations. Canadian Banknotes are also printed by two different printers, the Canadian Banknote Company and BA International Inc. The serial number prefix indicates which printer was responsible for printing the particular banknote.
