"Candida Esperanzada" is one of thirteen episodes of the Mexican series Mujeres Asesinas.

Lucía Méndez stars in this episode and she plays a prostitute who longs for love, care, and above all, a home. But things don't go just right, and they lead her to commit a double murder. Her co-stars are Alberto Estrella, Aaron Hernan and Patricia Reyes Spíndola.

It was originally aired in Mexico in July 2008 and it was the most successful episode of the whole season, mainly because Lucía Méndez attracts big crowds of viewers. Many people believe that Lucía Méndez means high ratings and this show was a proof of that.
