The Cape Coast Municipal District is a district of Ghana in the Central Region. It is the smallest district in the country.[1] It is bordered by the Gulf of Guinea to the south, Komenda/Edina/Eguafo/Abirem District to the west, Abura/Asebu/Kwamankese District to the east and the Twifo/Heman/Lower Denkyira District to the north. The capital, Cape Coast, is also the regional capital.
