Capranica is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Lazio, located about 55 km northwest of GRA (Rome) and about 20 km southeast of Viterbo.
Capranica borders the following municipalities: Barbarano Romano, Bassano Romano, Ronciglione, Sutri, Vejano, Vetralla.
It is one of the Italian communes across the Via Francigena.
