Meheri (var. Mehri,[1] Mahri or Mahra (Arabic: مهري), also known as Arab Salah[1] (Somali: Carab Saalax), is one of the largest tribes inhabiting the Al Mahrah Governorate in Yemen, and other countries in the Arabian Peninsula such as the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The Meheri also inhabit Puntland in northeastern Somalia.[1]
