[edit] Student programs

  • Drama – The school is known locally for its outstanding drama department which is directed by Robert J. McEwan. Recent productions have been Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2009), Beauty and the Beast (2008), Godspell (2007), Les Misérables (2006), and Camelot (2005).
  • The Ski & Snowboard Club – Started in the 2004–2005 school year by French teacher Erika Madden, the Ski & Snowboarding Club is a student favorite. The club journeys northward five times per winter to Cranmore Mountain Resort and to Loon Mountain.
  • The Deep Sea Diving Club - This club is set to make its debut in April, 2009 with the approval from the city of Brockton. Planned trips would include diving in the Gulf Coast over summer break as well as club meetings every Monday.

The boys' soccer team is among the best in the state.[citation needed] Finishing the 2008 season with a 13-5-2 record, Spellman won the Catholic Central League for the third year running.
