Caribbean or West Indian are natives or inhabitants of Caribbean region and people of Caribbean descent. The Caribbean region was the original home of the Amerindians from the Carib and Arawak groups. These groups were decimated by a combination of overwork and disease brought and imposed by European colonizers. [1]
