Carlos Patricio Díaz (born July 21, 1970) is a Chilean-born Canadian film and television actor who appears in Rent-a-Goalie, The Dead Zone and The Line.

Life and career[edit]

Díaz was born in Santiago, Chile to Spanish parents. There are three other men named Carlos Díaz in his family. He lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and travels to Vancouver, British Columbia for work at times throughout the year. He speaks English and Spanish language fluently and has a working knowledge of French. He has worked in television series, commercials, film, theatre, radio and voice over animation.

In 2004, he was actually interviewed by Carlos Díaz (no relation), host of Celebrity Justice for a segment on actors with the same name.

Díaz and the cast of Rent-a-Goalie were nominated for a Gemini Award in 2007, 2008 and 2009 in Seasons 1 through 3 for "Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy Program or Series".
