Carlos Pérez Rial, (born 12 April 1979 in Cangas do Morrazo, Pontevedra) is a Galician flatwater canoer who has been competing since 1999. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a gold in the K-2 500 m event at Beijing in 2008.
In 2005 he won his first major titles, becoming first European and then world champion in the K-1 200 m. This was Spain's first men's kayak gold medal since 1991.
In 2006 he narrowly failed to retain his world and European titles, both times finishing in the silver medal position behind Germany's Ronald Rauhe.
Perucho is a member of the Ría de Aldán club. He is 182 cm (6'0") tall and weighs 84 kg (185 lb).
