Carpenter Mountain is in Jeff Davis County, Texas at latitude-longitude coordinates N 30.51849 and W -104.06574. Its summit is 5,807 feet (1,769.97 meters) above sea level.[1] Carpenter Mountain is shown in the center of the topographic (topo) map at this link: [2], about 12 miles west-southwest of Fort Davis, Texas.
