Cary Kochman

Cary Kochman (born April 1965) is an executive with UBS AG. He is also a distinguished alumn of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Cary Kochman is a member of the UBS Americas Investment Banking Executive Committee and serves as Co-Head and Managing Director of Americas Mergers & Acquisitions. He also serves as the Co-Head of the Investment Banking Department's Chicago office and Midwest region. Kochman is an execution and relationship M&A banker with focus on various industries.
Prior to joining the UBS team in 2004, Cary Kochman served as Head of the U.S. M&A Department for Credit Suisse. He worked at Credit Suisse (and The First Boston Corporation as it was previously known) for 14 years. Kochman graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.S. in Accounting and continued his education at the University of Chicago earning both J.D. and M.B.A. degrees.
Kochman specializes in divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate takeovers, and is considered a cross-border M&A expert. Cary Kochman serves as a speaker and panelist globally and speaks at Northwestern University's MergerWeek. Kochman is a member of the Illinois Bar. Kochman is active in the city's leading civic organizations including the Executive's Club of Chicago, The Economic Club of Chicago, The Commercial Club of Chicago and acting as a Trustee of the Shedd Aquarium.
