Casula railway station is a station on the South line, located in the Sydney suburb of Casula. A station opened on the site in 1894.[1] Due to its low patronage, Casula is unattended by CityRail staff and there was previously no ticket vending machines (due to vandalism).[2] As of July 2009, a ticket machine has been installed at the station. The Southern Sydney Freight Line will pass by the eastern side of the station. As part of the construction work, Casula will receive an easy access upgrade with lifts to the platforms.
Points of interest include a level crossing immediately to the south of the station, and also the Casula Powerhouse arts centre adjacent to the station's eastern side.[3]

This station is serviced by two to four trains per hour each way, with additional trains during weekday peak hours. Cumberland Line trains operate only on weekday peak hours. During off-peak hours two of these four train services towards Campbelltown terminate in Glenfield.
