"Catch the Rainbow" is a song by the band Rainbow, released on their debut album Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow and live album On Stage. Although never released as a single, the song became one of Rainbow's greatest hits and is featured on all of their compilations. Melodically, the song resembles Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix[1] while the arrangement has many Pink Floyd influences. The lyrics also seem to be a continuing for Little Wing ("Soft and warm she'll touch my face, a bed of straw against the lace").
