This category contains no articles directly; rather, it organizes all of the articles on British peers, including those created under the Life Peerages Act 1958 (see Category:Life peers) and the Appellate Jurisdiction Act 1876 (see Category:Law Life Peers). However, it excludes Church of England bishops (some of whom are considered spiritual peers and sit in the House of Lords).
Please do not add people to this category; add them to the respective subcategory (Category:Viscounts in the Peerage of the United Kingdom, for example).
