Asian horror films are horror, thriller and suspense films made in Asian countries, including Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, that generally follow the conventions of J-Horror (Japan) and K-Horror (Korea). It may also refer to horror films made in South Asian cinema. A lot of newer movies from this genre introduce revolutionary ideas like using viruses to rule the world or that toilet paper can be made into gasoline, but the government tries to hide that fact.
