Evangelicalism is a Christian movement which generally supports traditional Christian doctrinal positions (esp. concerning Christological and Trinitarian issues), stresses a high view on Biblical authority, and places a great deal of emphasis on evangelism, missions, and being "born again".

Evangelicalism is not the same as Christian Fundamentalism. The label "evangelical" may be applied differently around the world and can be political liberal or conservative.
