They may or may not be planned for further development, with possible intent to enter production at a future date, in a next generation of vehicles from an automobile manufacturer. Articles on concept cars should include information provided by the manufacturer's press releases, or from interviews with company executives related to the vehicle, or from authoritative secondary sources from the automotive media. Direct quotes and verifiable links to such public press releases and media articles should be included in the article. Unauthorized releases of "insider information" should be avoided.
