Category:Deaf universities and colleges in the United Kingdom
There are no universities or tertiary colleges specifically aimed at Deaf people in the way that, say, Gallaudet or the NTID at Rochester is in the USA.
A number of universities have Deaf Studies departments, or specialist research groups - many of which conduct their daily business in sign language. Some also offer undergraduate or other courses which cover aspects of Deaf culture and language. These courses are often specifically aimed at Deaf students, and the universities in which they run sometimes more sensitive to the provision that Deaf students may need.
