Articles on teams from Major League Baseball or the Negro Leagues should be in the subcategory and not listed as "Pages" in this category, but check both levels to be sure.

Articles on defunct members of the 1871-1875 NAPBBP or "NA" are in the subcategory Category:Defunct National Association baseball teams. Some of them also played in the National League; their pages are also in the subcategory Category:Defunct Major League Baseball teams. NA players are commonly considered "major leaguers" although MLB does not count the NA as a major league.

Articles on members of the 1857-1870 NABBP are in the subcategory Category:National Association of Base Ball Players teams. Most of them were also members of the subsequent NA; their pages are in its subcategory too.
