Note: If the image is copyrighted, it should not be rendered any larger than is required for the purposes of identification and/or critical commentary.
Also Note: For black and white photographs, PNG images will be of the same quality as GIFs and will have much larger thumbnail files. Consider leaving said images as GIF.
