Notable people whose legal name or pseudonym (stage name, pen name, etc.) is often or always rendered in lower-case letters.

Due to technical limitations in the MediaWiki software, first names are shown uppercase here regardless of the subject's capitalization preference.

In addition, for some individuals known for their use of lowercase styling (for example E. E. Cummings), the article title is uppercase to reflect the subject's preference for conventional uppercase capitalization.

In other cases (for example Brian D Foy), editorial consensus has not developed to use the capitalization style preferred by the subject.

See Wikipedia:Manual of Style (capital letters) for the current consensus on capitalization.
