In scope of this category fall all names and titles used by JRRT or CJRT which were later replaced with alternative spelling (Airin), other name (Marmaduke Brandybuck) or were lost (Tevildo). All such redirects should point to "Concept and creation"/"Other versions of the legendarium" section. Redirects from names only proposed by JRRT but not considered canon belong to parent Category:Middle-earth redirects.
