In 2013, Hizbollah began his public involvement in the Syrian civil war in Qusayr defending the Syrian Regime. The Syrian opposition groups were enraged and promised retaliation. Jabhat Al-Nusra (Al-Nusra Front) began to send suicide bombers to Lebanon targeting shiite neighborhoods and the Lebanese Army.

Timeline:

1- On November 19, 2013, two suicide bombers attacked the Iranian Embassy in the southern suburb of Beirut killing 27 and wounding 160 people.

2- On December 2013, 3 suicide bombers targeted checkpoints belonging to the Lebanese Army or Hizbollah.

3- On January 2, 2014, a suicide bomber blew himself up in a shiite neighborhood in Haret Hrayk killing 6 innocent people and wounding 75.

4- On January 16, 2004, a suicide bomber attacked the town of Hermel, Bekaa, killing 5 and wounding 26.

5- Another terrorist attack in Haret Hrayk on January 21, 2014, killed 7 and wounded 46.

6- On February 1, 2014, a suicide bomber targeted the shiite town of Hermel killing 7 and wounding 26.

7- On January 3, 2014, a suicide bomber blew himself up in a bus in Choueifat (southern suburb of Beirut) killing one and wounding 2

8- On February 19, 2014, two suicide bombers targeted the Iranian Cultural Center in a shiite neighborhood in Bir Hassan killing 11 and wounding 120

9- On February 22, 2014, a suicide bomber blew himself up in a Lebanese Army checkpoint in Hermel killing 4 and wounding 15

10- On March 29, 2014, a suicide bomber blew himself up at a Lebanese Army checkpoint in Wadi Ata near Arsal killing 3 soldiers and wounding 4.
