Category:Tax resisters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tax resisters are people who have refused to pay all or some portion of taxes that a government asked them to pay because of conscientious opposition to that government or to the government's policies, especially opposition to war or specific wars. See: Tax resistance.
This category lists people who have used the tactic of tax resistance and/or are currently tax resisters.
This category stands in contrast to Category:Tax evaders, which contains articles about people who did not pay their taxes in order to avoid the resulting financial loss.
