This category includes players from the original Washington Senators American League franchise, which was in existence from 1901 to 1960. They moved to Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota in 1961 and became the Minnesota Twins.

They are not to be confused with the second Washington Senators American League franchise, which was an expansion team in 1961. They moved to Arlington, Texas in 1972 and became the Texas Rangers.

They are also not to be confused with the Washington Senators National League franchise, which was a team from 1891-1899.
