There is a noticeable dearth of games that take place during the First World War, especially when compared to the vast number of games that take place during World War II. Most have been flight simulators, depicting the clash of aviators over the Western Front. Although, Battlefield 1942 video game has featured Mods that are based during The First World War. For example The Great War Mod and Battlefield 1942 1918. Each are featuring skins, weapons, maps and vehicles.
