History of the category[edit]

Glad to see this category back. Just to keep our histories, please see Category:African American scientists (undelete history), originally created in February 2005, then deleted Feb. 2007 after strenuous objection by some on February 1, 2007, CFD. Category African Americans in science was created January 2009, and moved October 2012 to Category:African-American scientists. A long voyage back to the new style of the original name. --Lquilter (talk) 19:10, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
