Defining characteristic for them or related to their notability[edit]

Only add people for whom their Catholicism is a defining characteristic for them or is or was related to their notability. I already removed Adolf Hitler and I will remove more. See the pending. Your restriction is dubious as one can see by glancing at the subcategories of Category:Roman Catholics by nationality. It might be appropriate for you to re-read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest to avoid double standards.--71.105.243.108 (talk) 21:06, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

I am surprised that Ludwig van Beethoven is not listed as a Catholic ( though baptized, raised, given last rites, and buried from a Catholic Church), but you list Goebbels as a Catholic (who renounced his faith, got married in a Protestant ceremony, and died without any form of reconciliation (i.e., last rites). Something is amiss, awry!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.30.170.41 (talk) 04:27, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
