This category should be kept because the bay area is a very distinct subsection of california, it is hard to navigate the larger california category for those looking for bay area ghost towns and lost cities and furthermore there is a rather strong precedent for statelike categories for the bay area like Category:San Francisco Bay Area Public Transit Category:Rivers of the San Francisco Bay Area Category:Train stations of the San Francisco Bay Area Category:Lakes in the San Francisco Bay Area Category:Reservoirs in the San Francisco Bay Area Category:Islands in the San Francisco Bay Area Category:Hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area etc etc ect now if this were guam or rhode island having subcategories for Hågatña or Providence would be silly but California is tremendous.CholgatalK! 08:44, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
