The subcats need all to be together on the *first page*. More than once in the past I've abandoned looking for "People from Minneapolis" believing there to be no such subcat. Having only a few subcats on the first page (which is illogical in the first place) gives the illusion that the subcats only go through the letter F--no good at all!
