Perhaps post-punk revival bands should be in a separate category? It's definitely a different genre (and I don't see the two as being particularly similar). Sarge Baldy 05:23, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bear in mind that post-punk revival bands also needed the inspiration from post-punk acts, and are commonly compared to those, as well to new wave and alternative rock bands. --186.82.60.241 (talk) 23:13, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
