Catherine Philp is a foreign correspondent for The Times. She has specialised in conflict, with ten years spent based overseas, covering wars including Afghanistan, Iraq, East Timor, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Cambodia, Indonesia, Darfur, Congo and Zimbabwe. She is currently based in London.
