[edit] 3D Underwater Team Sport
Underwater hockey (UWH; also called Octopush) is a non-contact sport in which two teams wearing Snorkelling equipment compete to manoeuvre a puck across the bottom of a swimming pool into goals.
[edit] History
The club was established over 25 years ago as of February 2010.
It originally started out as Henley Octopush Club and was situated at the swimming pool at Gillotts School.
We eventually left this venue in 2000 and moved to Caversham, where we became simply Caversham Octopush Club.
[edit] Members
It has more than fifty members and is always looking to expand its number of ladies', men's and mixed teams.
Our team is registered with the British Octopush Association and plays in the Southern Octopush League division two.
[edit] Venues
Queen Anne's School swimming pool sessions on Tuesday and Thursdays.
Kendrick School provides additional pool sessions when required.
