Celtic F.C. in Europe

Celtic have had a long history in European competition, and their first match was in the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup against Valencia. More recently they have participated in the UEFA Champions League and have qualified for the knock-out stages two years in a row. They have also played in the 2003 UEFA Cup Final, which they lost 3-2 to F.C. Porto.
