Centerville, Gwinnett County, Georgia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Centerville is an unincorporated community in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States.[1] Centerville is located south of Snellville and is situated around the intersections of State Routes 124 and 264.
Centerville struggled to gain its own identity in the mid 1990s when the area still used the Lithonia mailing address. The Centerville name was deemed inappropriate because there is already a Centerville, Georgia near Warner Robins in Houston County.[citation needed]
[edit] Education
The area is served by Gwinnett County Public Schools Shiloh Cluster and by the Snellville post office. The area also has the Centerville Branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library system,[2] which shares a building with the Centerville Community Center.[citation needed]
