Central Malacca or Kota Melaka Tengah is a district in Melaka, Malaysia. It is administrated by the two local authorities Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB) or Historical Malacca City Council and Majlis Perbandaran Hang Tuah Jaya (MPHTJ) or Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council. The capital of Malacca state, Malacca Town, is in this district. This district is the major destination of tourists in Malacca as most historical spots are situated within it.
