The Central Texas Jammers are a team of the United Basketball League which is scheduled to begin play in 2008. Before that time the franchise will play road exhibition games against Texas teams. They will play their home games in Belton, Texas, and are the city's first professional sports franchise. The Jammers were originally slated to play in Killeen, Texas, and were to be named the Diplomats [1].
