Located on Seville Felipe del Rio Avenue in Colima, Plaza Diamante (Diamond Plaza) is one of the first commercial plazas that were built in the city. It has two plants with various twists of business: from a department store chain (Sears) to a restaurant, cinemas and a video game center. Passing through clothing stores and other accessories, decorative items and even a business that sells hot tub.

Zentralia Colima is one of the newest commercial plazas in the state capital. Its location is difficult for the average person to access because it is located on the third peripheral ring north of the city and there are few urban transportation routes that pass through there; in addition, the taxi fares to that part the city are currently among the highest: if one goes from the centre or the popular colonies one will have to pay between 25 and 35 pesos to arrive. This square is to store anchor LIVERPOOL, has a set of cinemas in the chain Cinépolis, restaurants, cafes, pet store, shoes, clothing stores, glasses, jewelry and an area of fast food among other businesses principally local origin.

Place the Arches is a small commercial plaza that is attached to one of the oldest department stores of Colima (La Marina). This plaza is located in the historic centre of town, is two floors and has a variety of small businesses, from those selling clothing and clothing accessories, to those which trade cellular phones. From inside the square it is possible to enter the said department store and a multi-level parking garage which is part of this whole business.
