Cenzo Townshend is an English music producer, mixer, and audio engineer. Townshend has collaborated with both mainstream and underground artists, including The Stranglers, Hothouse Flowers, New Order, Sleeper, Kaiser Chiefs, Northside, The Cranberries, Snow Patrol, as well as U2 and Echo & the Bunnymen.
More recently Townshend has worked with bands such as Zebra & Giraffe, Bloc Party, Editors, Late of the Pier, The Pigeon Detectives,[1] The Sunshine Underground, Scarlette Fever and Reverend & The Makers.
Townshend won the 'Mix Engineer Of The Year' award at the 2010 Music Producers Guild Awards.[2]
Townshend is currently based at Metropolis Studios, London.
