The Chabert Vanga (Leptopterus chabert), also erroneously called "Chabert's Vanga",[2] is a species of bird in the Vangidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Leptopterus.[citation needed] It is endemic to Madagascar.[1] Its name comes from a rendition of its call.[2]
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.[1]
