Opened in January 1999, the Illinois Terminal is an intermodal transportation center, providing city bus, intercity bus, and rail connections to, from, and within Champaign, Illinois. The terminal also houses a Subway restaurant and the Champaign office for Michael Frerichs, Illinois State Senator for the 52nd District.[2][3] Illinois Terminal was built with funds provided by the Federal Transit Administration, Illinois Department of Transportation, the Champaign-Urban Mass Transit District and the city of Champaign.[4]
