Charles Edward Merriam

Charles Edward Merriam (November 15, 1874 – January 8, 1953) was a professor of political science at the University of Chicago and founder of the behavioralistic approach to political science. His elder brother was John C. Merriam.

Merriam served as an advisor to American Presidents Herbert Hoover and Franklin Roosevelt.
