Charleston (earlier, Wyruck) is a former settlement in Merced County, California. It was located 6 miles (9.7 km) south of Los Banos.
The Wyruck post office opened in 1876, changed its name to Charleston in 1878, and closed in 1884. The name honors Charles Bambauer, its first postmaster.
